The Area Support Manager is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence across all operational services in the area, ensuring they operate to high standards, meet regulatory expectations, and that the people supported are safe and fulfilled.

What We Look For:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of the sector, regulatory requirements, and understanding of what good looks like.
• Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and conflict management, with the ability to engage and present at a senior level.
• A self-starter who is highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and projects effectively.
• Strong financial management skills and the ability to drive performance.
• Ability to travel, stay away from home when required, and hold a full UK driving license.

About You:

The successful candidate will be able to work some evenings and weekends, with some travel expected. An NVQ Level 5 (minimum) in social care or equivalent is essential. Extensive experience in a senior management or governance role within complex care is necessary, including understanding of legal frameworks related to mental health and forensic governance. Passion for positively shaping lives is equally important.
