Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Area Sales Manager – Hardwood Timber Products to drive field sales across London & South East. You will target furniture manufacturers, window & door suppliers, OEMs, and timber merchants, promoting hardwood timber ranges.

The role combines account management and business development with turnover targets set by experience; a fully expensed car and benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have building products field sales experience.
• Ideally from timber/joinery/doors sector, however not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technical information.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling hardwood timber products.
• Sell to furniture manufacturers, window/door manufacturers, OEMs, fit-out contractors, timber importers and distributors.
• Turnover targets are determined via experience.
• Blend of account management and business development.
• Can be based in the South East or Midlands.

Area to be covered: London & South East

Remuneration: £40,000 – £50,000 + £6,000 paid quarterly

Benefits: Fully expensed car + benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Hardwood Timber Products will involve:

• Field sales position selling a range of hardwood timber products
• All of your time will be spent selling to furniture manufacturers, window & door manufacturers, OEM’s, fit-out contractors, timber / wood importers and distributors and merchants
• Turnover target will be determined via your experience
• Good blend of account management and business development
• Can be based in the South East or Midlands

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager –Hardwood Timber Products with:

• Must have building products field sales experience
• Ideally from a timber, hardwood, joinery, doors sector however not essential
• Ideally sold to manufacturers however open
• Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
