Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited in the North of England seeks Area Sales Managers to drive drylining and interior decorative solutions. You will sell to drylining distributors and builders merchants, while developing new accounts to hit multi-region turnover targets.

We expect proven field sales experience in the building trade, a strong appetite for growth, and the ability to work independently with a hungry, tenacious approach. A car allowance is provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Must have sales experience in the building trade.
• Must have an appreciation for distributors, builders merchants, buying groups, DIY shed route to market.
• Genuine 'get up and go', determined and tenacious, make a good impression.
• Don't need your hand held with real hunger.

Responsibilities

• Field sales positions selling a high quality manufactured range of drylining & interior decorative solutions such as fillers, repairs, adhesives, bonding, skim & surface finishes.
• In the short terms all of your time will be spent selling to drylining distributors such as CCF and SIG.
• Target builders merchants, buying groups and DIY sheds.
• Accountable for turnover targets and generating new business while some accounts are provided.

Areas to be covered:

1. 1. Northern England & Scotland
2. 2. South West & South Wales

Remuneration: £40,000-£42,000 + bonus

Benefits: £450 car allowance & full comprehensive benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Managers - Drylining & Interiors Decorative Solutions will involve:

• Field sales positions selling a high quality manufactured range of drylining & interior decorative solutions such as; fillers, repairs, adhesives, bonding, skim & surface finishes
• In the short terms all of your time will be spent selling to drylining distributors such as; CCF& SIG
• As the role involved our client wants you to target builders merchants, buying groups and DIY sheds
• Both area turnover targets are £1m, NW tracking at £500, SW at £600k
• Average order value £1k
• Will be giving accounts however want you to generate new business
