Job summary

CPJ Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager for North London / Hertfordshire to promote a premium range of trade equipment to trade professionals and end users. You will deliver hands-on demonstrations in branches, counters, and on customer sites.

The role requires a hands-on trades background, a confident communicator, and a full UK driving licence. In return, the package includes £34,000 base salary, £10,000 OTE, a company vehicle, healthcare benefits and a stakeholder pension.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using tools and equipment in a trade environment.
• Confident communicator with ability to engage trade professionals.
• Ability to deliver product demonstrations and train others.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating and promoting a premium range of trade equipment and accessories to trade professionals and end users.
• Delivering hands-on product demonstrations in merchant branches, trade counters, and on customer sites.
• Supporting sales teams with real world product knowledge and technical insight.
• Attending trade events, branch visits, and live demonstrations.
• Building strong relationships with merchants, contractors, and distributors.
• Feeding back market intelligence and product performance insights.
