Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking an Area Sales Manager Timber Products to drive external sales across the South East, targeting tier 1-3 contractors, sub-contractors and merchants. The role offers a package with £50,000–£60,000 salary plus a £10,000 bonus, a company car and healthcare.

You will be responsible for growing turnover and upselling timber products from a dedicated branch. The ideal candidate has a proven timber sales background, industry contacts, and strong relationship-building and

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling timber products.
• Strong industry contacts and a pre-existing customer base.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• External field sales to contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors, joinery contractors, builders & shop fitters.
• Sell a range of timber products and sheet materials.
• Upsell and cross-sell product ranges where possible.
• Develop annual turnover targets, aiming for circa £2m after year one.
• Work from a dedicated branch with strong internal support.

The role of the External Sales Representative Timber Products will involve:

External field sales position selling a range of timber products and sheet materials

All of your time will be spent selling to tier 1,2 & 3 contractors, sub-contractors, D&B contractors,joinery contractors, small to medium sized builders & shop fitters and merchants

After year one want you to be turning over circa £2m

Working out of a dedicated branch with great internal support

Upselling and cross selling product range where possible

The ideal applicant will be a External Sales Representative Timber Products with:
