Macgregor Black are partnering with a Well-established Toy Company on the search for a Area Sales Manager. This is a permanent role based in South-West England.

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding the company’s presence in your assigned territory. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with independent toy shops, building strong relationships and ensuring they have the right products to meet the needs of their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and increase market share within the South-West region by identifying new opportunities and expanding business with existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with independent retailers, offering product training, merchandising support, and promotional advice.
  • Deliver outstanding service by understanding customers’ needs and tailoring solutions to suit them.
  • Keep the business informed about competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, ensuring you’re delivering results in line with company expectations.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in the toy or retail sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the independent retail market and how to effectively engage with this customer base.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you're a natural relationship builder.
  • Highly motivated with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively.
  • A passion for toys, with the enthusiasm to represent a leading brand in the industry.
  • Full UK driving license and your own vehicle for regular travel.
