Job summary

Rockfon, part of the ROCKWOOL Group, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow our presence in the UK construction market from field-based Scotland. You will promote Rockfon, develop the business in your designated area, and work closely with distributors and the Specification team on current and future projects.

The role requires proven commercial sales experience (construction experience desirable), strong CRM skills, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial sales experience, preferably in construction
• Experience with distribution sales channels
• Strong CRM skills
• Creative problem-solving and proactive mindset
• IT proficiency: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM
• Experience with technical/solution selling is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Promote Rockfon brand to target groups
• Develop Rockfon business within the designated area
• Create account plans to capture market opportunities
• Collaborate with Specification team on projects
• Log activities in RockSell CRM
• Work with Technical Services to follow up calculations
• Conduct market research and monitor competitors
• Sell the technical details of Rockfon products considering regulations

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

We’re seeking anArea Sales Managerto grow our presence in the UK construction market by strengthening distributor relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – North, you will be:

• Promoting the Rockfon brand to target groups
• Developing the Rockfon business within the designated geographical area
• Developing tactics and account plans to capitalise on market opportunities
• Working closely with the Specification team to realise the potential of ongoing and future projects
• Utilising Rockfon sales tools to log all activities (RockSell)
• Working closely with the Technical Services Team to ensure efficient and timely follow up of calculation requests
• Carrying out market research while maintaining competitor awareness
• Promoting and selling the technical details of the Rockfon product range while understanding legislation and its impact

What You Bring
