Redline Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager - Electronic Components for the South West UK region. The role focuses on developing new business, growing accounts and maximizing revenue across a designated customer portfolio.

You will drive design-in activity, promote products and services, manage customer relationships and work with internal teams to resolve issues. A track record in electronics, strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the electronics industry and electronic components.
• Proven track record in business development and key account management.
• Experience identifying new customers, markets and applications.
• Commercially driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable portfolio of existing and new customers.
• Drive design-in activity and promote the full range of products and services.
• Develop account strategies and identify new markets, applications and opportunities.
• Manage sales enquiries through to order and take commercial ownership of customer relationships.
• Achieve or exceed sales and gross profit targets.
• Manage customer inventory and support VMI programmes where required.
• Attend customer meetings, QBRs and industry events.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve commercial and operational issues.
