Area Sales Manager – Electrical Components

We are seeking an Area Sales Manager – Electrical Components to join our team. The role involves:

1. Field sales, selling imported electrical components to electrical wholesalers.
2. Stimulating demand among electrical contractors, specifiers, and end users.
3. Promoting consumer units, 3-phase systems, wiring accessories, test instrumentation, and automation products.
4. Managing an area with a sales target of approximately £1.8m.
5. Developing relationships with around 250 electrical wholesalers.
6. Conducting 4-6 customer visits daily, primarily on the road (4.5 days/week), with half a day for admin.
7. Balancing new business acquisition with account development.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling to or working within electrical wholesale, possess a strong work ethic, resilience, customer focus, and excellent relationship-building skills. They should be autonomous, reliable, enthusiastic, team-oriented, and communicative.
