Job summary

Harbourne Associates is partnering with a market leading construction company to recruit an Area Sales Manager for South Wales and the Northwest. You will drive specification-led growth on new build projects, building relationships with councils, house developers, contractors and framework partners.

The role demands a consultative, technical sales approach, the ability to influence across technical and commercial teams, and the skill to manage projects from early engagement to order.

Qualifications

• Experience in specification sales, preferably in construction.
• Ability to influence others and demonstrate leadership.
• Self-reliant, resilient and results-driven.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams.
• Based in South Wales or Northwest region.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with councils, house developers, contractors and framework partners.
• Securing specifications through a consultative, technical sales approach.
• Supporting customers with solutions around damp & mould, indoor air quality, compliance and energy efficiency.
• Managing projects from early engagement through to order and completion.
• Delivering presentations, CPDs and training sessions.
