A leading company in outdoor power products is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the South East. The successful candidate will focus on managing and developing dealer and rental distribution channels, and driving sales while ensuring strong customer relationships. This role requires a strong communicator with proven sales management experience and a strategic approach to achieving territory sales targets.
AREA SALES MANAGER, DEALER & RENTAL SOUTH EAST
Manage & develop the Dealer & Rental distribution channels in the region
Identify areas for increased market share across all categories
Drive sales through Distribution and Independent hire channels to achieve set goals and targets
Create and implement a strategy for the area in line with the overall Construction strategy across both Distribution and Independent Hire Channels
Achieve territory sales in line with agreed budgets
Develop strong relationships with existing customer base to ensure maximum share of wallet across all categories.
Effective territory management through sensible journey, time and geographical customer visit patterns
Work closely with internal Husqvarna functions to maximise the existing territory and pro actively seek new business from both existing and new businesses
Utilise ‘after sales and service’ as a revenue stream
Monitor and report on competitor activity
Attend both face to face and virtual sales meetings
Proven experience of successfully managing a large area with diverse customer base, together with the ability to competently use and demonstrate a range of construction equipment when required. Supporting customers with end user visits. An effective communicator, with the ability to build close relationships at all levels.
Plan to achieve set targets and budgets
Ability to bring new products to customer base in line with company strategy
Complete CRM and reports in a timely manner
The ability to present at all levels both internally and externally
Work with and support when needed the greater Construction team
Results orientated and a strong negotiator
