Base pay range

£35,000 - £45,000 5% bonus, £6,000 car allowance, 25 days holiday, pension and healthcare.

Responsibilities

Home-based, covering Norfolk and Suffolk, you will inherit an existing customer base of garden centres with annual sales value over £1 million.
Your role is to increase sales through established stockists and to open new garden trade accounts in order to achieve annual sales growth.
Form a regional sales plan based on historic sales data and company expectations.
Approach all customer meetings with full preparation to understand opportunities.
Network through customer contacts to sell through the categories and ranges.
Back up your sales activities with in-store training and support.
Communicate regularly with the Sales Director and with colleagues in order to meet opportunities, overcome challenges and share market information.

In order to maximise the impact of this role, we are looking for an experienced Sales Representative or Area Sales Manager who is already calling on garden centres and trusted relationships with store-based decision makers.

Proven experience of preparing for and performing outstanding sales visits.
Experience of selling through a range of products and categories.
Fantastic relationship building and customer service skills.

Salary/Benefits Information

The job holder will enjoy a basic salary in the range £35,000 - £45,000 plus 5% annual bonus, car allowance and mileage allowance, company pension, healthcare and medical cash back schemes, life assurance, mobile, laptop and 25 days paid holiday bank holidays.
