Job summary

Ben Burgess is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive agricultural equipment sales across a field-based territory. You will manage an existing customer base and identify new business opportunities, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.

You will handle the full sales cycle, coordinate with finance and marketing, and represent the company at events to maximise opportunities. A driving licence and willingness to work extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in agricultural sales, ideally with high-value equipment.
• Strong track record of sales success.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to work extended hours; weekend/harvest availability.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of brands and securing both new and repeat business.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, matching products and services to customer needs.
• Managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation and demonstrations through to finance solutions and after-sales follow-up.
• Representing Ben Burgess at customer-focused events and ensuring every interaction is first-class.
• Working closely with finance, marketing and depot managers to maximise opportunities.

• Confidence with technology — experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is a plus
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work extended hours when needed
• Weekend and harvest availability to meet seasonal customer demands
