Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a Technical Area Sales Manager to drive new business and strengthen customer relationships across the Darrington region of West Yorkshire. You will sell new and used agricultural machinery, perform product demonstrations and discuss finance options with customers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in machinery sales, a solid understanding of farming practices, and strong communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery and farming practices.
• Full UK driving licence and CRM experience.

Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base (OTE £45,000-£52,000) Uncapped Earning Potential
Hours: Monday to Friday, days (flexibility required)

The Company

Interaction Technical is recruiting on behalf of a well-established agricultural and groundcare machinery supplier. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Technical Area Sales Manager to develop existing customer relationships and drive new business across the region.

This opportunity would suit either an experienced machinery salesperson or someone with a strong agricultural background looking to transition into a sales-focused role.

The Role

• Sell new and used agricultural machinery within a designated territory
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Manage sales activity through the company CRM system
• Conduct machinery demonstrations and product presentations
• Advise customers on finance solutions
• Coordinate machinery deliveries and after-sales support
• Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in machinery or equipment sales
• Strong understanding of agricultural machinery and farming practices
• Previous agricultural machinery sales experience desirable
• Excellent communication, customer service and relationship-building skills
• Commercially driven with a proactive approach to winning business
• Comfortable using CRM systems and sales software
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible and professional approach to work
