Our client is a leading manufacturer of ventilation systems including heat recovery and mechanical extract ventilation solutions sold through the M&E contractor route to market across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, theyre now looking for an additional Business Development Manager based within the UK (location flexible). The role will potentially fast track into a managerial position for those interested in furthering their career.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the mechanical ventilation sector across the UK
Build and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors, main contractors, and building consultants.
Promote their range of products, including their acclaimed Heat Recovery Ventilation Systems and Mechanical Extract Ventilation solutions.
Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance and leveraging market insights.
The Candidate
You MUST have experience of selling HVAC related products into M&E contractors within a field-based role.
Experience engaging with mechanical contractors, main contractors, and building consultants.
Understanding of ventilation systems, HVAC products, and mechanical engineering principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong business development acumen with the ability to convert leads into sales.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
