Job summary

Kier Group is seeking an Area Operations Manager to join the Anglian Water Reactive team based in Kings Lynn. You will oversee operational management and delivery, working with the senior leadership to ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget.

You will drive performance across the team, coordinate with design, planning and operations, and ensure people are trained, resources allocated, and processes continuously improved to meet reactive demand.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership and management experience in an operational environment, ideally utilities or similar sectors.
• Proven track record of driving performance, safety compliance and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols, CDM regulations and environmental standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-team collaboration.
• A full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management and delivery of the alliance to ensure safety, timeliness and budget compliance.
• Drive performance management across the team and champion continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with design, planning and operational services to deliver reactive work.
