Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join the Anglian Water team based in Lincoln. You will provide senior operational leadership across reactive delivery, ensuring a safe, responsive and high-performing service.

You will translate contract and client requirements into effective operational delivery, leading management teams to deploy resources and maintain performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant operational leadership experience in a fast-paced, reactive service environment.
• Experience leading operational management teams and geographically dispersed delivery.
• Proven ability to deliver safety, customer, operational and commercial performance requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and people leadership capabilities.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership across Reactive operational delivery, ensuring clear accountability and effective management throughout the structure.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance while driving continuous improvement.
• Drive operational performance against KPIs and the contract's performance framework, working with Commercial colleagues.
• Develop strong relationships with Anglian Water stakeholders and provide senior representation at performance forums.
• Lead, engage and develop the operational management team, setting performance expectations and coaching.

We're looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join our Anglian Water team based in Lincoln.

Location: Lincoln
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As Senior Operations Manager, you will provide senior operational leadership across Kier's reactive delivery activities on the Anglian Water contract, ensuring a safe, responsive and high-performing service. You'll translate contract and client requirements into effective operational delivery, leading operational management teams to ensure resources are effectively deployed and performance is maintained. Operating within a fast-paced reactive environment, you'll provide visible leadership, respond effectively to changing operational priorities and ensure appropriate plans, resources and controls are in place to meet fluctuations in workload.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Operations Manager, you'll be working within the Anglian Water team, supporting them in delivering excellent operational performance. Your day to day will include:

• Providing senior leadership across reactive operational delivery, ensuring clear accountability and effective management throughout the operational structure
• Ensuring operational activity complies with health, safety and environmental requirements whilst driving continuous improvement
• Driving operational performance against the contract's agreed KPIs and performance framework, working closely with Commercial colleagues
• Developing strong and credible working relationships with Anglian Water operational stakeholders and providing senior representation at performance forums
• Leading, engaging and developing the operational management team, establishing clear performance expectations and building leadership capability through coaching and performance conversations

• You hold a Full driving licence
