is the largest security solutions provider in the UK & Ireland. We are currently looking for an Area Operations Controller (AOC) to join and support our Deployment team based in London.

Pay: £26,250 Annually

The AOC will be responsible for maintaining a holistic overview of regional scheduling, assisting with covering absence, and delivering various system and financial reports. This role is highly focused on customer service, with significant contact with our casual workforce. Flexibility is required, including some evening and weekend work.

Role Responsibilities
  • Schedule staff and handle associated administrative duties across a geographical area, providing support to the wider team as needed.
  • Maintain scheduling of all employees and portfolios, ensuring delivery of 100% of contractual and temporary hours, including holiday planning and absence management.
  • Support administrative tasks related to the scheduling database, keeping information current and highlighting absences to the Ops Team.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Ensure the schedule meets customer requirements and deployment expectations.
  • Assist the administrative team in managing workforce queries and making outbound calls to fill last-minute or dropped shifts.
  • Respond to scheduling changes proactively and reactively, working with the Ops Support Manager and operations to meet workforce demands and escalate issues affecting budget expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal, external, and legal requirements, including working time directives, SIA, and procurement processes.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments to ensure business success and share best practices.
  • Perform any other activities as reasonably required.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has current knowledge and experience in administrative duties.
  • Proficient with multiple office technology and software, including Google Suite.
  • Demonstrates tact, integrity, and handles confidential data responsibly.
  • Works independently and influences internal and external contacts.
  • Confident, well-presented, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing a demanding, busy environment and complex situations.
  • Flexible, adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Possesses good numerical reasoning skills.
  • Has strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Has at least 5 years of checkable work history.
  • Holds unrestricted right to work in the UK.
  • Can analyze and interpret data.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience with workforce management/T&A systems.
  • Ability to manage complexity and perform professionally.
  • Focus on delivering performance, teamwork, and collaboration.
