Job summary

Country Court Ltd is seeking a Minibus Driver to cover our homes in Walberton Place Care Home, Link House Care & Nursing Home, Lyle House Care Home and Birkin Lodge Care & Nursing Home. The role involves planning a fair rota across sites, transporting residents safely, and maintaining the minibus.

You will work 32 hours per week over 4 days, with duties including caring for residents during journeys, keeping the vehicle clean, and reporting any issues.

• Genuine enthusiasm for driving and looking after residents.
• Understanding of people with dementia is preferred.

About The Minibus Driver Role

Our minibus drivers will have several local Homes to drive for, planning effectively with each Home to maximise its use in a fair and agreeable rota, helping our Residents move to and from their destination with ease. The vehicle will be based at one of the homes. You may also be needed to cover other days of the week on occasions.

• Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
• Make sure our residents are safe and comfortable on the journeys.
• Responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Minibus & reporting any issues
• Keep the minibus clean & tidy and to a high standard.

About You

Are you kind-hearted, calm under pressure, patient and knowledgeable in driving? Are you courteous, respectful and have a genuine enthusiasm for driving and looking after our Residents? Are you a people person? If you are, then we want you to join our Family here at Country Court.

• Have a friendly & caring attitude

• Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
• Experience in the care industry is preferred but not essential
• For insurance reasons, our drivers must be over 25 years of age and have a FULL UK Driving License for 2 years or more and this must include category D1, with no serious driving convictions
