Job summary

Premier Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of domiciliary care branches across Newcastle and surrounding areas. The role allows stepping from Registered Manager into a multi-site leadership position with increased responsibilities.

The suitable candidate will provide operational leadership, coach managers, drive performance and ensure CQC compliance, while growing the service footprint and client numbers.

Qualifications

• Must have previous Area Manager/Regional Manager or Registered Manager experience in domiciliary care.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of service growth.
• Experience managing teams and driving operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across multiple domiciliary care branches.
• Support, coach and develop Registered Managers to achieve strong service performance.
• Monitor branch performance against operational, quality and commercial targets.
• Ensure services maintain full compliance with CQC regulations.
• Conduct regular quality audits, reviews and performance meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement across the region.
• Support growth and development of branches, including increasing care hours and client numbers.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners and key stakeholders.
• Analyse performance data and identify areas for improvement.
• Support Registered Managers with safeguarding, incidents, complaints and regulatory matters.
• Work closely with senior leadership to deliver regional objectives.

We are recruiting for an experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of domiciliary care branches across Newcastle and the surrounding areas. The organisation is open to considering a strong Registered Manager who is ready to step into a wider multi-site role and take on increased responsibility.

About the Role

Requirements

• Previous Area Manager, Regional Manager or Registered Manager experience within domiciliary care
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care
• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of service growth
• Experience managing teams and driving operational performance
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong quality assurance and compliance knowledge
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification would be advantageous
