Job summary

Premier Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead six domiciliary care branches in North Yorkshire. You will provide strategic direction, coach Registered Managers and drive regional growth, while ensuring high standards of care and compliance.

You will monitor KPIs, budgets and care hours, support recruitment and development, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with commissioners and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in area/regional management within domiciliary care.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
• Proven experience developing and supporting Registered Managers.
• Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership across six domiciliary care branches.

• Oversee safeguarding, complaints, incidents and regulatory matters.
• Develop relationships with commissioners, local authorities, clients and stakeholders.
• Identify underperforming areas and implement improvement plans.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver wider objectives.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

About the Role

• Provide operational and strategic leadership across six domiciliary care branches
• Lead, coach and support Registered Managers to achieve strong operational and commercial performance
• Monitor branch KPIs, budgets, care hours, client growth and overall performance
• Drive business growth across the region, identifying opportunities to increase care hours and client numbers
• Ensure all branches maintain high standards of care, compliance and CQC readiness
• Conduct regular branch visits, performance reviews and quality audits
• Support Registered Managers with recruitment, retention, staff development and performance management
• Oversee safeguarding, complaints, incidents and regulatory matters
• Develop strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, clients and other key stakeholders
• Identify underperforming areas and implement clear improvement plans
• Work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver wider business objectives
• Promote a strong culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement across the region

What We're Looking For

• Previous Area Manager, Regional Manager or senior multi-site management experience within domiciliary care
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation
• Proven experience managing and developing Registered Managers
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving service growth
• Experience overseeing multiple branches or services
• Confident working with KPIs, budgets and operational performance data
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance and compliance
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
