Job summary

NICEIC, part of Certsure, is seeking Area Engineers in Bristol to assess certified contractors and support them in meeting industry standards. You will visit sites, evaluate against the UK electrical standards, and help customers maintain compliance while promoting NICEIC services.

You will build trusted relationships, contribute to training and mentoring of new Area Engineers, and work in line with health and safety policies. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electrical installations.
• Good working knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete a weekly programme of assessment visits scheduled centrally.
• Assess contractors against electrical industry standards.
• Assess applicants for scheme certification and conduct visits as required.
• Make assessment recommendations and complete required documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Support training and mentoring of new Area Engineers when needed.
