Job summary
CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee electrical testing, inspection, and engineering compliance across nationwide projects. You will collaborate with delivery teams from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring installations meet BS7671 and NICEIC standards.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, C&G 2391, and a proven managerial track record, with a valid UK driving licence and strong documentation skills.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Experience leading electrical testing and inspection teams.
- Documentation and reporting proficiency required.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary compliance lead for electrical testing and inspection across projects.
- Ensure adherence to BS7671 and NICEIC requirements through site audits.
- Review and verify electrical test certifications (internal and third-party).
- Support design input, commissioning, and testing practices with technical guidance.
- Oversee equipment upkeep and safety in office and site environments.
- Contribute to small works projects and broader electrical compliance initiatives.
