Job summary

NICEIC, part of Certsure, is seeking experienced electrical professionals to join as Area Engineers in Scotland. You will assess contractors, guide them to meet industry standards, and foster long-term relationships while promoting NICEIC services.

You will conduct assessments, provide expert feedback, and contribute to maintaining compliance across our schemes. This role focuses on high standards, safety, and customer service in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electrical installations and BS 7671.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Complete a weekly programme of assessment visits.
• Assess contractors against electrical standards.
• Assess applicants for scheme certification and conduct visits as required.
• Make assessment recommendations and complete scheme documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Support training and mentoring of new Area Engineers.
• Work in accordance with the Health and Safety policy.
• Undertake other duties within competence, e.g. supporting marketing events.
