Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a highly organised Cleaning Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites in the UK. You will manage teams, drive performance and ensure high standards of hygiene and client satisfaction.

You will recruit, train and supervise staff, monitor inventories and budgets, and liaise with clients to tailor services to their needs. A full UK driving licence is required for travel between stores.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop a cleaning team across multiple sites.
• Experience in planning, organizing resources and budgets effectively.
• Willingness to travel between stores across the UK with a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning personnel.
• Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs.
• Liaise with clients to understand cleaning requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on cleaning operations and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing.
