Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning across 30-35 sites with a mobile team. The role is based in Sheffield, Nottingham and Lincoln and requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, typically 7:00am–4:00pm.

A full driving licence is needed for site visits and coverage. The role emphasises KPI delivery, on-time checks, staff recruitment and training, budget control, health & safety compliance, and strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage cleaning across 30-35 sites on a mobile basis
• Ensure KPIs and weekly checks are delivered and actioned
• Recruit and train Cleaning staff in line with recruitment processes
• Manage area/site costs within budget and ensure health & safety compliance
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Handle HR issues as required

Position: Area Cleaning Manager

Salary: £37,500.00 per annum + Bonus up to £2,000.00 (KPI Dependant)

Location: Sheffield, Nottingham, Lincoln

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday | Generally working between the hours of 7.00am - 4.00pm

Job Purpose:

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI's and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

The role is full time, permanent and 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a demanding client and need to be prepared to be hands-on where required.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
