PDA Search & Selection is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across 30-35 retail sites. Role involves mobile management, KPI delivery, staff recruitment and training, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The successful candidate will drive area performance, manage site costs within budget, and develop strong client relationships while conducting regular audits and HR issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

Position:

Area Cleaning Manager

Salary:

£37,500.00 per annum + Bonus up to £2,000.00 (KPI Dependant)

Hours:

40 hours per week

Shifts:

Monday – Friday | Generally working between the hours of 7.00am – 4.00pm

Our client are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Manager to be responsible for cleaning operations of circa 30-35 retail sites.

Job Purpose:

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI’s and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

Candidate’s background & experience:

• Proficient in IT in the use of Excel, Word & Email

The role is full time, permanent and 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a demanding client and need to be prepared to be hands-on where required.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
