Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across 30-35 sites, with a mobile management approach. The role is based in the Lincoln area, offering 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with weekends off and a company car & fuel card.

The ideal candidate will have multi-site cleaning management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive KPIs and safety standards while managing budgets and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning across approximately 30-35 sites with a mobile management approach.
• Ensure KPIs and weekly checks are delivered to defined standards and take corrective action.
• Recruit and train cleaning staff in line with recruitment processes.
• Manage area and site costs within budget and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact.
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits and address HR issues.

Job description

Position: Area Cleaning Manager

Salary: £37,500.00 per annum + Bonus up to £2,000.00 (KPI Dependant)

Included: Company car & Fuel Card

Location: Sheffield, Nottingham, Lincoln

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday | Generally working between the hours of 7.00am - 4.00pm

Job Purpose:

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI's and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

The role is full time, permanent and 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a demanding client and need to be prepared to be hands-on where required.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
