Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across 30-35 sites. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts Mon-Fri and weekends off, based in Leicester and Coventry.

You will recruit and train cleaning staff, ensure KPI delivery and weekly checks, manage budgets and health & safety, and build strong client relationships while conducting regular audits and HR issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning across circa 30–35 sites on a mobile basis.
• Ensure KPIs and weekly checks are delivered to defined standards and take corrective action as required.
• Recruit and train cleaning staff in area to align with recruitment process.
• Manage area and site costs within budget; ensure Health & Safety requirements are followed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact.
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits.
• Manage any HR issues that arise.

Position: Area Cleaning Manager

Salary: £37,500.00 per annum + Bonus up to £2,000.00 (KPI Dependant)

Included: Company car & Fuel Card

Location: Leicester, Coventry

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday – Friday | Generally working between the hours of 7.00am – 4.00pm

Our client are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Manager to be responsible for cleaning operations of circa 30-35 retail sites.

Job Purpose:

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI’s and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

• Proficient in IT in the use of Excel, Word & Email

The role is full time, permanent and 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a demanding client and need to be prepared to be hands-on where required.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
