Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is recruiting for an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across roughly 30-35 sites on a mobile basis. The role is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and a driving licence is required.

You will monitor KPIs and weekly checks, manage site budgets, train staff, and develop client relationships. A company car and fuel card are provided.

• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Email).
• Good communicator and team player.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position: Area Cleaning Manager

Salary: £37,500.00 per annum + Bonus up to £2,000.00 (KPI Dependant)

Included: Company car & Fuel Card

Location: Covering sites across Crawley & Kent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: Monday - Friday | Generally working between the hours of 7.00am - 4.00pm

Job Purpose:

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management of cleaning in the provision of cleaning circa 30-35 sites on a mobile basis.
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI's and Weekly Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required.
• To recruit and effectively train all Cleaning staff in the Area to ensure that other colleagues are recruited and trained in line with the recruitment process.
• To manage the area and site costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits
• Manage any HR issues

The role is full time, permanent and 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, with weekends off.

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a demanding client and need to be prepared to be hands-on where required.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence.
