Job summary

Senior Architectural Technologist role based in the UK, with a hybrid working pattern (office 1 day per week, remainder from home). The role involves working across highly regulated sectors including Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences and Power with strong emphasis on Revit proficiency and BIM Level 2 compliance.

The contract is 6 months with potential for extension. Umbrella or PAYE via the agency is available, with a gross umbrella figure around £28–£34 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience with Revit in architectural projects.
• Experience delivering architectural packages in regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences or Power.
• Good understanding of BIM Level 2 and information management.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop high-quality architectural drawings, models and technical documentation using Revit.
• Support the delivery of architectural packages across medium to large project teams.
• Interpret project briefs and deliver outputs that meet client, project and regulatory requirements.
• Apply BIM Level 2 principles and good information management practice to project delivery.
• Support the production of specifications, including work involving NBS Chorus.
• Contribute to technically complex projects in regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences and Power.
• Work with a high level of accuracy, quality and attention to detail.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our client based in either Manchester, London or Warwick - working on a 6 month contract basis with the possibility for further extension. This is to work across a range of technically challenging and highly regulated sectors, including Power, Defence, Nuclear and Life Sciences.

This will be a hybrid working role, based in the office 1 days per week and the rest from home. This is also an inside IR35 role so candidates will not be able to use a Limited Company. Umbrella or our agency PAYE will be possible and we believe a gross umbrella figure around £28–£34 p/h will be available – based on level of experience and suitability. Candidates will be assessed according to their experience and the hourly rate offered will reflect this.

Candidates will require existing eligibility to work in the UK as no sponsorship is available and they must be able to obtain basic (SC) level security clearance. They must possess prior experience working on projects in highly regulated sectors, such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences and Power – and they must also be highly proficient on REVIT software (5 years’ experience).

• A high level of proficiency in Revit.

• Experience working on projects within highly regulated sectors such as Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences or Power.
• Experience with NBS Chorus specifications.
• The ability to work independently and deliver against a brief.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• The ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and multiple office locations
