Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a multidisciplinary design team delivering complex projects across Defence, Nuclear, Power and Life Sciences. The role supports producing architectural drawings and BIM content in a highly regulated environment, with a focus on Revit-based delivery and BIM Level 2 information management.

You will work flexibly in a hybrid setup, collaborat­ing with architects, engineers and project teams to ensure compliant, buildable designs

Qualifications

• Experience as Architectural Technologist in consultancy, contractor or multidisciplinary design
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM Level 2 methodologies
• Experience delivering architectural packages in regulated sectors (Defence/Nuclear/Life Sciences)

Responsibilities

• Lead production and delivery of technical architectural information across multiple projects
• Produce high-quality architectural drawings, models, and documentation using Revit
• Support delivery of architectural work packages within multidisciplinary teams
• Interpret briefs to deliver client and regulatory compliant solutions
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and stakeholders to ensure accurate, buildable designs

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you'll take a leading role in the production and delivery of technical architectural information across multiple projects.

• Producing and developing high-quality architectural drawings, models, and technical documentation using Revit
• Supporting the delivery of architectural work packages across medium and large multidisciplinary project teams
• Interpreting project briefs and delivering solutions that meet client, project, and regulatory requirements
• Applying BIM Level 2 principles and best-practice information management processes
• Assisting with the preparation of specifications, including work using NBS Chorus
• Supporting the delivery of projects within highly regulated sectors including Nuclear, Defence, Life Sciences, and Power
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver accurate and buildable design solutions
• Maintaining exceptional standards of quality, accuracy, and technical compliance throughout project delivery

• Experience working as an Architectural Technologist within consultancy, contractor, or multidisciplinary design environments
• Advanced proficiency in Revit
• Strong understanding and practical application of BIM Level 2 methodologies & experience preparing specifications using NBS Chorus
• Experience delivering architectural packages with minimal supervision
• Experience working on projects within highly regulated sectors such as Defence, Nuclear, Power, Life Sciences, or similar environments
