Architectural consultancy based in Essex, specialising in residential projects have a new role for an Architectural Technician to join their dynamic team with flexible working, a competitive salary and a collaborative work environment on offer.

Their portfolio includes a wide range of housing developments, from small-scale private homes to larger residential schemes. As an Architectural Technician you will play a key role in delivering projects from planning through to the technical stages.

You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, with a focus on residential developments. Working closely with architects, planners, and engineers, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical standards, compliant with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and details for residential projects.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant codes of practice.
• Conducting site visits, preparing technical reports, and resolving any on-site issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, ideally with a focus on residential projects.
• Strong understanding of the planning process and UK Building Regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or similar field.
