Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Birmingham is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a prestigious practice known for architectural and interior design in commercial, education and healthcare sectors. The role is permanent and located in Birmingham with a competitive salary of £27,000–£32,000.

You will develop concept designs, produce technical drawings, assist with project coordination with senior staff, and work on residential and commercial schemes from inception to completion, including

Qualifications

Completed RIBA Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications in the UK.
Post Part 2 experience in a UK practice is desirable.
Experience using Revit for design and documentation.
Experience on projects across multiple sectors.
Strong design and drafting abilities with attention to detail.
Clear communication and good organisational skills.
Able to collaborate in a team and work independently.

Responsibilities

Develop concept designs and technical drawings.
Assist with project coordination alongside senior staff.
Work on residential and commercial projects from inception through to completion.
Contribute to planning applications and building regulations processes.
Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project delivery.
