Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Birmingham is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a prestigious practice known for architectural and interior design in commercial, education and healthcare sectors. The role is permanent and located in Birmingham with a competitive salary of £27,000–£32,000.

You will develop concept designs, produce technical drawings, assist with project coordination with senior staff, and work on residential and commercial schemes from inception to completion, including

Qualifications

• Completed RIBA Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications in the UK.
• Post Part 2 experience in a UK practice is desirable.
• Experience using Revit for design and documentation.
• Experience on projects across multiple sectors.
• Strong design and drafting abilities with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and good organisational skills.
• Able to collaborate in a team and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept designs and technical drawings.

Duties for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant include:

• Develop concept designs and technical drawings
• Assist with project coordination alongside Senior members of staff
• Work on residential and commercial projects from inception through to completion
• Work on planning applications and building regulations
• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure successful delivery of projects

Skills and experience for the role of Part 2 Architectural Assistant include:

• Successfully completed your RIBA Part 1 and 2 qualifications
• Relevant Post Part 2 qualification experience in a relevant role within a UK practice
