Job summary

2i Recruit Ltd is seeking an Architect to join a collaborative team that delivers projects from planning through construction. You will prepare Building Regulations submissions, produce tender packages, working drawings and construction details.

The role supports the technical delivery across diverse sectors and involves coordinating across design teams, clients and contractors to ensure timely, compliant project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing Building Regulations submissions and technical documentation.
• Producing tender packages, working drawings and construction details.
• Supporting the technical delivery of projects across a variety of sectors.
• Assisting with project coordination throughout all stages of the design and construction process.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintaining high technical standards and ensuring compliance with current Building Regulations.
• Supporting project management activities and meeting project deadlines.
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment and assisting with problem-solving throughout project lifecycles.

Experience and Skills Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.
• Ideally a minimum of three years’ architectural experience within the UK.
• Experience working on a range of project types and scales.
• Good understanding of both refurbishment and new-build projects.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and support projects through to completion.
• Flexible and collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
