Job summary

Glendale arboriculture is seeking a qualified Arborist to join our team in Rotherham. You will perform tree work including climbing, pruning, felling and dismantling for domestic, commercial and public sector clients, using a range of equipment.

You should hold NPTC certificates (CS30/CS31/CS38/CS39), a valid CSCS card is advantageous, and a full UK driving licence is preferred. We offer generous leave, sickness cover, career development and cycle-to-work schemes.

• UK driving licence preferred and CSCS card advantageous.
• Experience in climbing, pruning, felling and dismantling.

• Climb and perform arboricultural duties including tree felling and dismantling.
• Prune trees and carry out aerial ground work as required.
• Use a range of equipment and ensure safety compliance on site.

Arborist | Rotherham

Full Time / 37 hours

Glendale arboriculture carries out a wide range of tree-related works for domestic, commercial & public sector clients. We are seeking a qualified Arborist to work in the region. Services offered in this region include woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects.

Main Duties / The Opportunity:

• Climbing and undertaking arboricultural duties including tree felling/dismantling, pruning operations
• Our arborists benefit from a vast array of tools and equipment, from high-end timberwolf chippers, Husqvarna and Stihl handheld equipment including battery equivalent tools, Mobile Elevated Platforms, remote-controlled stump grinders and 3.5t - 7.5t arb spec vehicles.

The Person

• Flexible and reliable with a thorough, proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial
• Must have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety regulations
• The nature of work ideally requires the qualified candidates to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates: 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39),. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full, UK driving licence is desired, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.
