Manpower Group (UK) is seeking an Arborist/Climber for a permanent, full-time position in Christchurch. The role focuses on safe, high-quality tree care within a dynamic contracting team.

The ideal candidate has experience as an Arborist and holds relevant qualifications such as CS 30/31, CS 38, CS 39, CS 41, plus a valid UK driving licence and First Aid certification. Training and career development are available within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Arborist position.
• Safety protocols and procedures awareness is critical.
• Qualifications such as Level 3 Maintenance (CS 30/CS 31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (CS 38), Level 2 Chainsaw from Rope and Harness (CS 39), Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (CS 41) are advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence and First Aid Certificate are essential.
• Eye for detail and willingness to learn.

Arborist - Climbers
Location: Christchurch
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Full time
Salary: £15.14 to £18.38 DOE and qualifications held, PLUS Enhanced Overtime and call-out rates. (Base Salary equivalent £31,500-38,220)
About the role
Our client provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance. An exciting opportunity has risen for an Arborist/Climber to join our Arboricultural Association Approved contracting team in Christchurch.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in an Arborist position
• Awareness of safety protocols and procedures is critical to ensure the well-being of both the surveyor and others in the vicinity of trees being assessed.
• If you hold relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Maintenance (Formerly CS 30 / CS 31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formerly CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formerly CS 39), Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formerly CS 41), or the equivalent industry standard qualifications, this would be highly advantageous.
• Full UK Driving License and First Aid Certificate is essential.
• Eye for detail and willingness to learn.
