Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting Arborists in Barnsley for a permanent role. The job includes tree removals, crown work, deadwooding and planting, with a focus on safety and high standards of workmanship.

Two experienced Arborists are sought to build a team, offering 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday and a salary up to £19.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a climbing arborist.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Awareness of safety protocols and procedures for arboricultural work.
• DBS within 6 months would be highly beneficial (can be arranged).

Responsibilities

• Perform tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and planting.
• Contribute to building a new arborist team in Barnsley.
• Adhere to safety standards and site rules on every job.

About the role

We provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance. We are now looking for two talented and experienced Arborists, to build a new team in Barnsley.

We have multiple positions available at various levels, from Ground Worker to Skilled Climbers. We're excited to build a team of like-minded individuals who enjoy their work, collaborate effectively and are committed to delivering the best service to our clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience of working in a Climbing Arborist position.
• Awareness of safety protocols and procedures is critical to ensure the well-being of both the surveyor and others in the vicinity of trees being assessed.
• Relevant qualifications such as: Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41).
• Full UK Driving License.
• Eye for detail and willingness to learn.
• A valid DBS, dated within the last 6 months, would be a huge benefit. But one can be obtained by idverde for the right person.
