Approved Electrician Meridian is working with an expanding Electrical company that is growing their team of permanent Approved Electricians after successful years. This role offers a variety of work around Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, specializing in commercial projects such as offices, warehouses, apartments, luxury living spaces, universities, and student accommodations.

Their engineers handle 1st and 2nd fix installations on these projects. As an Approved Electrician, your tasks will include installing containment, power and lighting, wiring, conduit, DADO, and sockets, as well as Inspection & Testing when required. Projects typically last between 1 - 3 months, with bonuses available based on meeting deadlines and performance, which can significantly increase earnings. There are also opportunities for overtime and weekend work when projects demand.

Requirements for this role:

• Gold JIB Approved Electrician Card
• Relevant electrical experience in commercial environments
• BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Inspection and Testing qualifications (either on Approved JIB card or separately)
• Driving Licence (travel involved)

Duties include:

• Perform electrical installations, including 1st, 2nd, and final fix
• Inspection and Testing of commercial electrical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other tradesmen
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service
