Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Coordinator to support the Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Lead in increasing knowledge and participation across the Trust.

You will work with service managers and staff to facilitate apprenticeship opportunities, build networks with providers, and help deliver education and workforce strategies, while benefiting from NHS staff development opportunities and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Supports the Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Lead to increase knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and widening participation.

Responsibilities

• Work with service managers and Trust employees to facilitate opportunities to undertake a wide range of professional and academic apprenticeship.
• Build networks with training providers and external stakeholders to ensure quality, effective and efficient programme provision.
• Carry out administrative tasks contributing to delivering the Trust’s Education & Workforce strategies and related divisional work plans.
