Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Fabrication & Welding Trainer / Assessor in Workington to inspire and support the next generation of skilled tradespeople. The role focuses on assessing apprentices in workplace and remote settings and guiding their journey to End Point Assessment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in welding and fabrication.
• Industrial experience in welding/fabrication.
• Assessor/verifier qualifications are advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support and assess fabrication and welding apprentices against apprenticeship standards.
• Carry out workplace and remote assessments, reviews, and progress meetings.
• Guide apprentices through their learning journey and End Point Assessment.
• Work closely with employers to support learner development and achievement.
• Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
