Job summary

RNN Group is seeking an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor – Joinery at the Rotherham Campus. This full-time role involves delivering joinery training, mentoring apprentices, and coordinating with employers across South Yorkshire. Salary ranges from £33,487 to £38,487 with benefits.

Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 in a wood trade, plus A1/V1 Assessor Award and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or be working toward them). Strong learner relationships are essential.

Responsibilities

Salary: £33,487 (unqualified teacher/assessor) to£38,487 (qualified teacher/assessor)a year with benefits

What You’ll Bring to the Bench

We value your hands-on experience as much as your paperwork. We’re looking for:

• Industry Roots: Solid experience in Joinery or Woodworking.
• Trade Credentials: An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant wood trade.
• The Right Tools: An A1/V1 Assessor Award and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or the drive to work toward them with our support!).
• People Skills: The ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of learners and partner organisations.
