Morgan Jones Recruitment is seeking an experienced joinery professional to join the Work-Based Learning team in Worksop as an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor. You will deliver training, support learners, and conduct workplace assessments across North Nottinghamshire.

The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, with a salary up to £38,487 and a strong benefits package including generous annual leave and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Industry joinery/workshop experience required.
• A1/V1 Assessor Award or willingness to achieve Level 5 teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training, coaching and mentoring sessions.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Joinery professional to join their Work-Based Learning team as an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to pass on their knowledge and help shape the careers of future joiners. Working with apprentices and employers across the region, you will deliver engaging training, provide coaching and mentoring, and support learners in achieving their apprenticeship standards. You will carry out workplace reviews and assessments, monitor learner progress through digital systems, and help apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed within the construction industry. This role would suit an experienced joiner looking to transition into education and training, or an existing assessor seeking a fresh challenge within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

About You

• Industry experience within Joinery or Woodworking NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade
• A1/V1 Assessor Award or willingness to work towards Level 5 Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and IT skills
• Passion for developing future industry talent
