RNN Group is seeking an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor – Joinery to deliver engaging, industry-led sessions for joinery apprentices across North Nottinghamshire. You’ll bridge workshop learning with on-site applications, assessing progress and guiding learners toward professional standards.

Step into a mentor role, bringing NVQ/assessor credentials and teaching expertise, while developing KSBs that employers crave.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in joinery or woodworking.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a wood trade.
• A1/V1 Assessor Award and Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work toward them).
• Ability to build relationships with learners and partner organisations.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging, industry-relevant joinery sessions on-site and off-site where required.
• Conduct on-site assessments and progress reviews for apprentices.
• Develop Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) aligned with employer needs.
• Track progress using e-portfolios and communicate with students and employers.

Location: North Notts Campus, Worksop (with offsite travel within North Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas)

Salary: £33,487 (unqualified teacher/assessor) to £38,487 (qualified teacher/assessor) a year with benefits

What You’ll Bring to the Bench

We value your hands-on experience as much as your paperwork. We’re looking for:

• Industry Roots: Solid experience in Joinery or Woodworking.
• Trade Credentials: An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant wood trade.
• The Right Tools: An A1/V1 Assessor Award and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or the drive to work toward them with our support!).
• People Skills: The ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of learners and partner organisations.
