About the job

You will manage a remote caseload of learners, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality coaching, tailored support, and regular progress tracking to ensure every learner reaches their full potential and successfully completes their programme.

Visiting learners in the workplace/remotely and training and assessing them as part of their Apprenticeship programme to ensure the successful outcome for the apprenticeship in line with contractual requirements and targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.

• Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.

• Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely achievement.

• Track progress and implement interventions where necessary to maintain engagement.

• Liaise with employers to ensure training aligns with business needs and apprenticeship criteria.

• Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with funding and Ofsted requirements.

• Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.

• Stay current with industry trends to enhance delivery and learner outcomes.

· Prepare, agree, and review assessment plans with each candidate.

· Create learner portfolios to agreed target standards and ensure they are submitted on time.

· Carry out learner visits at least monthly either face to face in the workplace or remotely to provide support.

· Carry out employer visits to complete Progress reviews.

· If you have Vocational expertise in management, leadership and business and would like to get involved in coaching the future of leaders, managers, and business professionals and a genuine passion for supporting learners to thrive in their careers, we would like to hear from you.

You will need:

· Own transport and the ability to cover the South if required. (Remote delivery)

· Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate well to staff and learners of all abilities.

· Ability to prioritise and manage workload, including travel to various locations to visit, train, and assess learners.

· Ability and desire to deliver taught training sessions to both groups and individuals regarding the full Apprenticeship standard, including Vocational Qualification.

· Organised and methodical approach to work.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

· Self-motivated but also a team player.

· Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent).

· TAQA or Assessors award (if qualified) or willingness to work towards.

· Own NVQ/Apprenticeship L2 or L3 qualification would support application but is not essential.

Additional desirable experience:

Proven experience coaching or training learners in apprenticeship or education settings.

Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.

Recognised assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
