We are an independent vocational education training provider looking for positive, dynamic individuals to join our expanding team and help others progress through their apprenticeships.
About the job
You will manage a remote caseload of learners, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey with high-quality coaching, tailored support, and regular progress tracking to ensure successful completion.
Responsibilities include visiting learners in the workplace/remotely, training, and assessing them in line with contractual requirements and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.
- Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.
- Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely achievement.
- Track progress and implement interventions to maintain engagement.
- Liaise with employers to align training with business needs and apprenticeship criteria.
- Maintain accurate records in line with funding and Ofsted requirements.
- Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.
- Stay current with industry trends to enhance delivery and outcomes.
- Prepare, agree, and review assessment plans with each candidate.
- Create learner portfolios to meet standards and ensure timely submission.
- Conduct learner visits at least monthly, either face-to-face or remotely.
- Carry out employer visits for progress reviews.
Requirements
- Vocational expertise in management, leadership, and business, with a passion for coaching future leaders and professionals.
- Own transport and ability to cover the South if required (remote delivery).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload, including travel.
- Ability and desire to deliver training sessions on Apprenticeship standards, including Vocational Qualification.
- Organized and methodical approach.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
- TAQA or Assessors award (or willingness to work towards).
- NVQ/Apprenticeship L2 or L3 qualification (preferred but not essential).
Additional Skills
- Proven experience coaching or training learners in apprenticeship or education settings.
- Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.
- Recognised assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
