Job summary

Lithia UK is offering a Vehicle Technician Apprentice role designed to blend hands-on dealership experience with structured training. You will work towards an IMI Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance, with mentoring and a clear path to become a fully qualified Technician.

No prior automotive experience is required. The programme includes attending the Coventry Training Academy 13 blocks of 5 days each over a 3-year period, with a comprehensive benefits package and long-term

Qualifications

• No prior automotive experience required.
• Must be curious, motivated and eager to learn.
• Passing grades in English, Maths and Science are expected.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service vehicles and perform checks following instructions.
• Diagnose, repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and produce time estimates for repairs.
• Maintain service records in the in-house system and for customers.
