Job summary

Snows Motor Group is seeking an Apprentice Technician at the Southampton SEAT and Cupra site. You will train on the job under supervision, delivering services and repairs while learning brand standards and dealership processes.

The role offers full training, career progression, and benefits as you develop skills in diagnostics, customer service, and teamwork within a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to learning and interest in studying mechanical qualifications.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering first class customer service.
• Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with the brand technical standards.
• Work in accordance with the brand and dealership processes.
• Liaise directly with customers where appropriate.
• Provide support to more experienced colleagues.
• Attend apprentice training for the brand.
• Work as a full member of the workshop and dealership teams.
• Ensure working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous.
• Ensure protective clothing and equipment supplied is worn appropriately.
• Carry out the handling of waste products and hazardous materials as per company policies and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.

Your day

As anApprentice Technicianyou will carry out all workshop duties in an efficient and safe manner under the supervision of a Senior Technician. To meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.

Your day will include:

• Carry out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with the brand technical standards
• Work in accordance with the brand and dealership processes
• Liaise directly with customers where appropriate
• Provide support to more experienced colleagues
• Attend apprentice training for the brand
• Work as a full member of the workshop and dealership teams
