The role requires GCSEs English and Maths (4+) or equivalent, and proficient IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Administrative Support Services Team in Legal, Governance and Democratic Services. You will play an important role and be fully committed to achieving the L3 Business Administration Apprenticeship standard.
The Administrative Support Services Team have a wealth of knowledge and are keen to support an apprentice to develop new skills and enhance the important work the team deliver. The post will be sat within Democratic Services, providing support across a range of areas, including Legal, Information Governance, Electoral Services, Committee Services, Member Services and Civic Services.
An example of some of the responsibilities of the role are
You will be expected to have the ability to work on your own initiative, be able to meet tight deadlines, problem solve and have experience of using IT systems such as emails and Microsoft word / excel and MS Teams.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract, and you will need to have a good standard of education. This will include 2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths or (if under the age of 19) demonstrate the commitment to complete level 2 functional skills in both Maths and English before the completion of your apprenticeship.
